The thing that bothered me the most on a soundstage whenever I had to wait for a grip or gaffer to finish working on a scene, to talk to them about some equipment they're renting is that I had to stand all the time - there was nowhere to sit, because sitting in an empty chair with someone's name screen-printed on the seat back can often result in capital punishment if it's the director's and he's in a bad mood.
That's one of the reasons we've included four folding set chairs: three low ones for use at the included tables for uploading storage to a computer, lunch, paperwork, or any other reason, and a tall one for a director or for a cast member to sit in while getting made up.
If you've worked like some production companies we're familiar with, they usually have a set-on a table with a laptop so they can view footage on the camera's storage card, using a USB card reader like the one we provide in our package.
And to avoid worrying about laptop battery, it's a good idea to plug into the nearest AC outlet, and if there's one a little farther than your computer's cable, we've included a heavy-duty 50' stinger with three AC Edison outlets, so you can also charge cellphones and batteries for camera and lights.
This strip can really come in handy if there's a nearby AC source close enough for our 50's stinger to plug into, combined with our 7-outlet USB Hub, there'll be no worry about cellphones, batteries, laptops, or anything else dependent on batteries except your Teslas to go B.O. on you.
Our main purpose in laying out the contents of this production package is to eliminate as many inconveniences that often pop up during production, so if you think we've over-done it then you're correct... and it was intentional - and if there's no AC within 50' of your outdoor location, we've even got another 4K option item that can be provide: a portable 4,000 watt Westinghouse Generator that's one of the quietest on the market, so even if you're not shooting M.O.S., you can be far enough away from it to not have it ruin a shot - but if you're interesting, first come and listen to it from 50' away to see if it'll work for you.
